Position: 911 Communications Supervisor

Status: Full-Time position with excellent benefit package
One-year probationary period
Rate of Pay: $57,783 Salaried
FLSA EXEMPT
Shift: Variable shifts to include on-call, 40 hours per week
Closing Date: January 8, 2024, at 4:00pm or until filled
Qualifications:
- Working Supervisor: must have a minimum 4 years of dispatch experience with Intermediate Certification or the ability to obtain within a year. Four years of progressively responsible work-related experience which includes training, civil activities and supervisor experience OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of training.
- Must possess Emergency Medical Dispatch certification.
- Must possess a Field Training and Evaluation Program (FTEP or CTEP) certification or an equivalent certification within 6 months.
- Must possess DPSST Advanced Telecommunications Certification within 4 years of hire, must attend Basic Supervision with 3 years, and Middle Management within 5 years.
- Must possess a Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) inquiry/entry certification.
- Must Possess valid First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task; to receive information and to distribute that information to the appropriate service responder at the same time.
- Ability to work with highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be a team player, taking and receiving feedback effectively, taking the initiative, problem solve and motivate your team.
- Must meet the requirements of the job description.
- Must pass criminal history check, job related testing which includes split ear listening skills.
