UPDATE on Internet and Phone Outage in Wallowa County as of 12:35 PM. We have been advised that service has been restored.
UPDATE as of 11:15 AM: According to information from EONI, the damaged fiber line has been found and crews are working on getting things repaired.
WALLOWA COUNTY, Ore. Phone lines and internet service are currently down across most of Wallowa County.
Service providers are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
During the outage, 911 calls will be rerouted and answered. Callers should remain on the line and provide their location to the dispatcher.
Those attempting to reach a non-emergency number are asked to be patient, as service is limited, and to try calling again later.
