1. Planning Commission Meeting Minutes from July 30, 2024
2. FINDINGS APP#24-01 MULCAHY of ZP#24-21 HIGH PRAIRIE REAL ESTATE – Appeal of Zone Permit #24-21 which approved a Short Term Rental for High Prairie Real Estate at Wallowa Lake. The appeal was submitted by Susan Mulcahy. The property in question is described as Township 03 South, Range 45, Section 29AC, and Tax Lots 4433/4434 in the South Wallowa Lake Resort Residential (R-3) zone. It is more commonly known as 60184 Hamilton Rd, Joseph, Oregon, and consists of approximately 0.66 acres.
3. AMD#24-01 STANGEL – submitted by Dick Stangel on behalf of Stangel Industries and Machine Shop. The proposal is to change the zoning on 18 acres of property on two parcels. The first parcel is described as Township 02 South, Range 44 East, Section 01, tax lot 105 currently zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU). The second parcel is described as Township 01 South, Range 44 East, Section 00, tax lot 3400 currently zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) and Enterprise Airport (E A-1). If approved, 18 acres would be rezoned to Rural Service (R/S) and the Wallow County Comprehensive Land Use Plan and associated zoning maps would be revised. The property was identified for rezoning in the 2021 Wallowa County Economic Opportunity Analysis (EOA). The EOA was drafted as a requirement of ORS 197.716 allowing rural counties to rezone up to 50 acres of resource-zoned lands to employment lands for economic stimulus.
