Mona K. Williams, the District Attorney for Wallowa County, took office January 1, 2007. She has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1989 and is a past president of the Wallowa County Bar Association and past chair of the Union/Wallowa Local Professional Responsibility Committee.
Prior to being elected District Attorney, Mona K. Williams was the sole practitioner of a private legal practice in Wallowa County. She has served as councel to the City of Joseph and the City of Lostine.
Mona K. Williams is a native of Wallowa County; she graduated from Joseph High School in 1971 and earned her Bachelor of Science from Eastern Oregon University in 1986. She earned her Juris Doctor in 1989 from the University of Idaho, where she was a member of the Law Review.
She lives in Joseph with her husband, Bill, and is the mother of two grown sons.
Rebecca J. Frolander, the Deputy District Attorney for Wallowa County, was appointed April 9 , 2014.
