The Wallowa County GIS Web Site has been developed to provide geographic information to the citizens and businesses of Wallowa County as well as other public and private entities.  Users may access, view, and query data available within the Wallowa County GIS system.

The data has been collected using a variety of methods including, but not limited to, field survey, global positioning systems (GPS), and aerial photography analysis.   The accuracy of the data is of varying quality.  It is the user's responsibility to determine if the data is suitable for their use.  These accuaracy variances should be considered relative to the proposed use.  For high accuracy uses such as engineering design work, data should be developed from survey quality data.
